our company

OmicsChart is a subsidiary company of Independent Data Lab (IDL) – a bioinformatics consulting agency. The members of IDL have worked with many companies and academic institutions assisting them in implementing best bioinformatics practices and developing bioinformatics solutions, majority of the projects being in the field of immune-oncology. And we have realized that many of our clients have had the same struggle when analyzing biomarker data from their patients, and trying to draw conclusions from a huge amount of data generated from the patient’s samples.

our vision

Recent revolution in molecular screening technologies led to an explosion in the amount of data generated from a patient. During a clinical trial in oncology one patient can generate over 100 GB of raw unprocessed data. However, analysis of that data is a challenge and a bottleneck, due to the complex nature of the data, absence of existing standards and lack of skilled people who can process this data.

At OmicsChart we are set to make clinical trial data from a chaotic collection of files into information that can be used to understand the biological processes inside the patients during the treatment, and therefore develop better strategies, de-risk the clinical trial, and ultimately, save lives.

Tatsiana Aneichyk
Tatsiana Aneichyk

PhD, CEO

Tatsiana is a founder and a CEO of OmicsChart, as well as of Independent Data Lab. Her bioinformatics career started in 2012, when she joined a PhD program in Molecular Oncology at Medical University of Innsbruck. After completion of her PhD with distinction, she spent several years as a post-doc at Massachusetts General Hospital/ Harvard Medical School and a visiting researcher at the Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT.

In 2019 she founded Independent Data Lab and became an independent bioinformatics consultant and a host for a Slack workspace dedicated to contract bioinformatics. Since then, IDL has successfully executed several projects with the teams of two to five contract bioinformaticians and software engineers.

Prior to bioinformatics, Tatsiana worked as a software engineer in a multinational company and did research in traffic optimization. She has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, associate degree in Economics and Master of Science in Industrial Logistics.

Danielle Johnson
Danielle Johnson

PhD, CEO

Danielle is the CSO of OmicsChart.

She recently completed a PhD in pharmacogenetics and clinical trials at the University of Liverpool. Prior to this, she worked at the Medical Research Council Clinical Trials Unit in London, working on the influential STAMPEDE trial in prostate cancer.

She also has a Master’s in Translational Science from King’s College London and an undergraduate degree in Medical Sciences from the University of Exeter.

Pavle Neskovic
Pavle Neskovic

PhD, CEO

Pavle is a CTO of OmicsChart. He has a BSc degree in Software Engineering and is specialized in developing modern serverless applications.

Pavle brings experience to the OmicsChart as a startup founder and as someone who has developed software in enterprise and startup environments.

He is engaged in the local software development scene as he gave tech talks to the community and is planning to host a hackathon for software graduates.
